TV Mounting in Naples Condos: Rules, Wall Types & Best Practices

Naples high-rise condos present unique challenges for TV mounting that differ significantly from single-family homes. Concrete walls, HOA regulations, and noise restrictions all factor into the installation process.

Most Naples high-rises (Park Shore, Pelican Bay, Marco Island towers) have concrete block or poured concrete walls. Standard drywall anchors won't work — you need concrete anchors (Tapcon screws or sleeve anchors) and a hammer drill to create pilot holes. This is louder than drywall installation, so we schedule within HOA-approved hours, typically 9 AM to 5 PM on weekdays.

Cable concealment in concrete is handled differently too. Since you can't fish cables through solid concrete, we use surface-mounted raceways painted to match the wall, or for a cleaner look, we route cables through the ceiling (if it's drywall) and down behind the wall's drywall furring strips.

Before starting any installation, check with your condo association. Some buildings require contractor registration, proof of insurance, and advance notice to the front desk for equipment delivery. We handle all of this coordination so the process is seamless for you.
